For comparison's sake, last year's Galaxy S6 Edge came with a meager 2,600 mAh battery, which infuriated many users, even though it came with quick-charge technology.
The battery size of the standard Galaxy S7 is still unconfirmed, but reportsindicate that it will carry a 3,000 mAh pack, the same size as last year's Galaxy S6 edge+.
If you're still sore that Samsung's newest flagships won't have removable batteries, there are reports out of Germany that Samsung will offer a "Backpack Case" for the S7/Edge with a 2,700 mAh rechargeable battery, bundled with a wireless charger. The drawback? It's rumored to cost close to $100.
